Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need previous cleaning experience?
Yes, we’re looking for people who already have domestic cleaning experience or who have gained relevant experience in a similar role. Our clients trust us to match them with cleaners who can work confidently and independently.
Do I need to be self-employed?
Yes. Our cleaners work on a self-employed basis, giving you the flexibility to choose the work that suits you and fit it around your existing commitments.
Do I need public liability insurance?
Yes. We ask all cleaners to have their own public liability insurance before taking on clients. If you don’t already have it, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
Do I need my own transport?
Ideally, yes. Most of our cleaners travel between clients, so having your own reliable transport makes it much easier to work flexibly.
What equipment do I need?
Clients provide larger cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket. You’re welcome to bring your own preferred cleaning products if you wish, although many cleaners use the client’s products.
How much will I be paid?
Our cleaners are paid £15 per hour. Payment is made by bank transfer once the client has paid their invoice.
Can I choose the work I accept?
Absolutely. We’ll offer you work that matches your location and availability, and you can decide whether it’s the right fit for you.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Spalding and work across much of South Lincolnshire. We’ll always try to match you with clients close to where you live.
What happens after I apply?
We’ll get in touch for an informal chat to find out more about you, your experience and your availability. If we’re a good fit, we’ll guide you through our simple onboarding process before offering suitable client opportunities.
